Linda Jean Sanborn

Linda Jean Sanborn, age 79 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Fairborn Assisted Living. She was born June 21, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert James Kunze and Elinor Gertrude (Prideaux) Kunze.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, with a wide array of interests. She cherished time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren. A lifelong learner, Linda authored numerous books and poignant essays on childhood education. Her freelance writing reflected her thirst for knowledge and love of writing. In retirement, Linda cultivated her talent for art, becoming an exceptional ceramic artist with several pieces showcased in galleries.  Linda was also a devoted Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Donald H. Sanborn; two siblings, Sydna Becker, James Kunze; and brother-in-law, Buddy Hanna. She is survived by two children, Morgan Arwood, Audrey Sanborn; five grandchildren, Abigail Arwood, Vivian Arwood, Aidan Arwood, Parker Jones, Charlie Jones, siblings, Judy Hanna, John (Marleen) Kunze; brother-in-law, Robert Becker; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M., until the time of service, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. Condolences can be made to the family at www.beltonstroup.com
