Linda Ann Laymon

Linda Ann Laymon, age 68 of Fairborn, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday February 24, 2018.  She was born February 04, 1950 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Eddie G. and Nancy A. Laymon.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Faye in August 2016.  She is survived by two siblings, Vickie Harris and Larry Laymon; two nephews, Greg Harris and Dustin Harris (Sabrina Pryor); and a host of relatives and dear friends.  Linda was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Fairborn for over 50 years, singing in the church choir, teaching Preschool choir and teaching Sunday school.  She retired in 2017 from Wright Patterson Air Force Base civil service where she was employed for 28 years.  Linda loved gospel music and has created personal friendships thru the years with numerous professional artists and their families.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, Ohio.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Fairborn, 1167 Highview Drive, Fairborn, with Dr. David A. Rakes officiating.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
