Larlie R. Kilburn

Larlie R. Kilburn, age 91 of Springfield, passed away Tuesday November 14, 2017.  She was born October 3, 1926 in Pomeroyton, KY, the daughter of the late William and Lila (Culverson) Brown.  Larlie had been employed with the Tecumseh School District; and she had a passion for quilting.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Glen, and Ernest.  She is survived by four children, Ken Kilburn, Connie (Roger) Brown, Wallace (Charlene) Smallwood, Caroline (Doug) Helton; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Edison (Wanda) Brown; a sister, Ada Smith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ida Lewis for all of her help, support, and for being a wonderful friend and Hospice of Dayton nurse Vivian for her loving care.  The family will receive friends on Monday November 20, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Matt Lowrie officiating.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
