Kimberly A. Bruggeman

Kimberly A. (Henry) Bruggeman, age 57 of Oakwood passed away after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 9, 1965, in Dayton, the daughter of James and Marla (Gayheart) Henry.

Kim was a nurse and social worker at Greene Memorial Hospital ER and then for Caresource; taking care of others was her calling. She loved shopping, traveling, cycling and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, James "Jim" Henry; granddaughter, Leah Emerson Payne; maternal grandparents, Amos and Zella Gayheart; paternal grandparents, Gordell and Mattie Henry. Kim is survived by her loving husband, Jeff; two sons, Tyler (Emily) Payne, Austin Payne; daughter, Kaitlyn Bruggeman; mother, Marla Henry; grandchildren, Gabriel Spitler, Simon Payne, Theo Payne, Harvey Payne, Noah Payne; brother, Chris (Michelle) Henry; nephews, Ian Henry, Will Henry; as well as extended family and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at Apex Church, 5200 Far Hills Avenue, Dayton, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Mike Breen officiating. Burial to follow at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.
