Kenneth C. Alspaugh

Kenneth C. Alspaugh, age 70 of Fairborn, passed away Friday January 4, 2019.  He was born January 25, 1948 in Dayton, the son of the late Clifton and Dorthy (Wheeler) Alspaugh.  Kenneth served his country in the US Army during Vietnam.  He retired from Jim’s Body Shop in Fairborn and was an avid Buckeye fan.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Pletcher.  Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Linda; two sons, Todd (Theresa) of Waynesville, Ryan of McKinney, TX; three grandchildren, Kyle, Morgan, Owen; two brothers, Jim (Mary) Alspaugh, Terry Alspaugh; two sisters, Cathy Boggs, Cheryl Bigger; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday January 14, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Dayton National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
