Kelly Spencer, Jr., age 67 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday December 22, 2018 at the Miami Valley Hospital. He was born November 12, 1951 in Logan Co., WV, the son of the late Kelly, Sr., and Irene (Vaughn) Spencer. Kelly was employed as an electrical engineer with Projects Unlimited, retiring after 28 years of service. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, boating, and he was a ham radio operator. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Don Chambers; and a sister, Sally Hole. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Sharon; two daughters, Amberly (Owen) Estep, Natalie Anand; three stepchildren, Mike Speakman, Tony (Danyelle) Speakman, Jody (Corey) Bowman; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; a step great-grandson; sister, Debbie (Daniel) Schreier; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family; and his beloved dogs, Maggie and Daschal. A funeral service will be held on Thursday December 27, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor James Clayton officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
