Kathleen Ann Bowen, age 73 of Dayton passed away unexpectedly, April 30, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born June 7, 1950, in Huntington, NY, the daughter of the late George William Sieglitz and Minnie Alice (Forte) Sieglitz.
Kathleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She retired after 29 dedicated years with the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center, housekeeping service. She was a long-time member of the Agape Family Worship Center in Beavercreek where she taught Sunday School for 20 years. Kathleen treasured vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains, especially trips with her husband to Pigeon Forge. Moreover, Kathleen enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and cooking. Those who knew and loved Kathleen will cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Sieglitz; and sister, Minnie Wylie. She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Jamey Alan Bowen; two sons, Dallas Mitchell Baines Jr., Daniel Michael Baines; grandson, Dillon Michael Baines; great-grandson, Damian Michael Baines; siblings, Donna Singleton, Dawn Kelly, George Sieglitz, Karl Sieglitz, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 P.M., Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Agape Family Worship Center, 4111 Mapleview Drive, Beavercreek, OH 45432. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M., until the time of service, Pastor Mark McVey officiating.
