Kathern F. Mcneely

Kathern F. McNeely, age 88 of Fairborn, passed away July 25, 2018.  She was born October 27, 1929 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Welcome and Dorothy (Shupe) Shipplet.  Kathern was a member of the Wright View Church of the Nazarene; she loved to dance; enjoyed decorating and spending time with family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton “Bud” McNeely.  Kathern is survived by a son, Dan (Betty) McNeely; daughter, Diane Gould; 4 grandchildren, Brandon (Karen) Gould, Christopher (Ash'Lynn) Gould, Ryan Daniel (Sara) McNeely, Michael Haggstrom; a great-grandson, Carter Daniel McNeely. A funeral service will be held on Monday July 30, 2018 at 12 Noon in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Rev. Dan Comer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
