June E. Sams

June E. Sams, age 87 of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday January 10, 2018.  She was born March 17, 1930 in Barberton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Howard and Wilda (Grogan) Balderson.  June was employed in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB, retiring in 1992 after 37 years of service.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1995; and a brother Dean Balderson.  June is survived by eight sons, David (Toni), Richard, Terry, Steven (Cenna), Ronnie, William II, Marvin, Tim (Karla); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Burl (Janice) Balderson.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 16, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
