Joshua "Josh" M. Campbell

Joshua M. Campbell, age 36 of Fairborn, passed away Monday April 10, 2023.  He was born July 17, 1986 in Xenia.

Josh was currently employed as a mechanic with J. Lee Automotive and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, camping, canoeing.  He loved spending time with all of his family, especially his son, Josh Jr. (JJ).  Josh also loved his music and playing his guitar.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Morris and Lillian Sills and Henry Campbell; and an uncle, Greg Sills.  Survivors include his son, Josh Jr. (JJ); his mother, Shelia Campbell (Rick Carr); his father, Mike Campbell; the mother of his son, Ashley Biteman; grandmother, Gladys Campbell; aunts, Marsha Sills, Cheryl Adkins, Beth Sills, Pam Matson (Tony); cousins who were more like his siblings, Shawn Adkins, Kristian Adkins (Kelly), Stefanie Adkins, Fawn Adkins, Heather Clonch, and several more.  Also surviving are his work family at J. Lee’s Automotive, Justin, Alan, and Sonny; special lifelong friends, Sarah Chrum, Nick Carter, AJ Earl, Kurtis Smith, Aaron Schroeder and Brandon Simpson.  He had so many friends throughout his life and cherished them all.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. Condolences can be made to the family at www.beltonstroup.com
