Joseph Thomas Tornichio

Joseph Thomas Tornichio, age 56 of Xenia and Beavercreek, passed away Friday June 24, 2022.  He was born July 3, 1965 in Newark, Ohio, the son of the late John and Domenica (Zurlo) Tornichio.

Joe was a graduate of the Greene County Career Center and he attended St. Luke Church with family.  He was employed in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB in environmental services, retiring in 2016.  He was an avid Buckeyes and Browns football fan and an Indians baseball fan; and his memberships included the Sons of the American Legion.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Jr.  Survivors include three siblings, Virginia Tornichio, Adolfo (Heather) Tornichio, all of Beavercreek, Nate Patavini of Las Vegas, NV; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday July 23, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Luke Catholic Church, 1440 N. Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church.  Inurnment will take place at a later date in northern Ohio.
