Joseph K. Smith, Jr.

Joseph K. Smith, Jr, age 28 of Fairborn, passed away November 7, 2020.  He was born February 2, 1992 in Dayton, the son of the late Joseph K. Smith, Sr. and Nikki Lynn Clark.  Joe was an artist, enjoyed music and was a self-taught barber.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a loved football coach for the Fairborn Wee Hawks.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an uncle, Stephen Clark.  Joe is survived by his wife Ashley; five children, Kyair, Xayden, Zaxton, Lay’veon, Joeley; siblings, Tiarra Mansell, Daleonne Clark, Jo’Mia Smith, Ja’Vionna Smith, Jada Smith; grandmother, Lula Mae (Robert E. Sr.) Jones; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Monday November 16, 2020 at 1:00 P.M., Pastor Brian Clark officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charitable account Coach Joe Strong at any Wright-Patt Credit Union.  Please wear a mask if attending any of the above services.
