Jerry L. Durst

Jerry L. Durst, age 83, of Fairborn passed away, September 7, 2023, at Soin Medical Center. Jerry was born March 29, 1940, in Dayton, the son of the late Peter and Daisy (Loughman) Durst.  Jerry was a dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend to many. During his career, Jerry was employed as a pharmacist, with Revco, CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens, until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, working in his yard, and fixing things. Family was also important to Jerry, especially his grandchildren.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Heidi Durst; siblings, Bobby Durst; Charlene Alessandro; and Joy Litten. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie; son, Jerry (Lilliann) Durst; grandchildren, Joshua; Josephine; Lourdes; as well as extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service.
