Jerome T. "Jerry" Wonderly

Jerome T. “Jerry” Wonderly, age 69 of Fairborn passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday September 26, 2023.  He was born April 16, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late LaVerne and Betty (Lindsey) Wonderly and preceded in death by three siblings, John V. Wonderly, Kathleen Sharkey, and Thomas E. Wonderly.  Jerry was a graphic designer and founded Myriad Creative Concepts, a global altar card business for the clergy, which he maintained until his passing.  Jerry was known for his compassionate heart and he helped many people throughout his lifetime.  He enjoyed art, music, theater, philosophical discussion, bicycling, college football, national politics and playing the guitar.  Jerry is survived by his sister Carol Dilgard of Dayton and sister and brother-in-law Deborah and Cecil Patrick of Xenia along with many nieces and nephews.  Jerry is also survived by two dear friends, Clara Sisco of Fairborn, who held a special place in his heart and longtime friend and confidant Mary Gerlach of Indianapolis.  A graveside service will be held on Monday October 2, 2023 at Calvary Cemetery, St. Kateri Preserve located at 1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Jerry.
