Jeanette M. Hodge

Jeanette M. (Ingram) Hodge, age 87 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday January 2, 2025. She was born July 1, 1937 in Ripley, OH, the daughter of the late Everett and Zetta (Cooper) Davis. 

Jeanette was steadfast in her faith and was a longtime member of Wright View Church of the Nazarene and Fairborn First Church of the Nazarene prior to that. Family was most important to her, and she received much joy from being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1983; granddaughter, Angela Williams; great-grandson, Travis Williams; brothers, Darrell Davis, Ronald Davis and sister-in-law, Patricia Davis. Survivors include a daughter, Connie (Thomas) Wlazlo; a nephew who was a son in her heart, Ronald (Marla) Ayres; grandchildren, Kristen Wlazlo, Tyler (Torrie) Wlazlo; great-grandchildren, Ricky Williams (Sierra Schultz), Wesley Williams (Kaitlyn Knight), Shelby Taylor, Katlynn (Richard) Hammond, Tallen, Titen, Toaklen Wlazlo with another one due this summer; great great grandchildren, Levi, Sophia, Carter, Leland, Aubrie, Harper, Harmony, Arrow, as well as many other nieces, nephews and family members.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday January 9, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Trevor Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Jeanette will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hillcrest Cemetery outside of Maysville, KY on Saturday January 11, 2025 at 12:00 noon.
