Jayne E. Kuehner

Jayne E. Kuehner, born on March 1, 1945, in Tampa, Florida, passed away January 17, 2025, in Fairborn, Ohio. Jayne was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend known for her warmth, generosity, and love for her family. For 56 years, she shared her life and faith with her devoted husband, Greg, with whom she built a loving home. Together, they raised their two children, Kathryn Chase and John Kuehner. Jayne took great joy in being Nana to her grandkids: Andrew, Laura, Caroline, and Eleanor (Elijah). Jayne's interests included cross stitching, cooking, and baking, all of which showcased her creativity and her desire to nurture those around her. Jayne made good friends across the country as she moved around as a military kid and then military spouse. Combined with her 13 aunts and uncles and 45 first cousins, she had a great many people she kept in touch with for years, always sending cards and personal letters. She often shared her advice for keeping everything organized: “Make a list!” In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, she is survived by her brother, Jim Behnken, and his wife, Annalisa, along with her niece, Julianne Behnken-Cortesi, and nephew, Jack Behnken, all of whom will miss her dearly. Jayne was preceded in death by her parents, John W and Evelyn (Knippa) Behnken. Her memory will forever be cherished, and the impact she made on the lives of those who knew her will remain in their hearts.
