Janis Loyola (Williams) Blanton

August 29, 1937 — January 26, 2018

BLANTON, Janis Loyola (Williams) 80, of South Charleston, OH, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 unexpectedly at her home. She was born in Flat Gap, KY on August 29, 1937 to the late Loy and Molly (McKenzie) Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Kenneth H. Blanton, and a sister Audrey Pauline Brown. She is survived by a daughter Deborah S. (Steven) Scott; a son Michael K. Blanton; grandchildren Jillian (Kyle) Striebich; Susan Scott; and Sonya Scott, all of Fairborn, OH; four great-grandchildren, Carson Ryder Funderburg; Abel Kade, Ari Kenneth, and Brayden Alan Striebich and Kennedy Lynn Clark; She is also survived by her beloved sister Mellana Sharyl Cantrell of Fort Mill SC; as well as several nieces, nephews, and their children. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, crafting, shopping, coloring in her multitude of coloring books and loved spending time with her granddaughters and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Also a special, loving thank you to Gina Dalton of Jamestown, OH for everything she did. There will be no service per the request of the family.  Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home.
