Jane L. Mathews

Jane L. Mathews, age 69 of Centerville, passed away Saturday April 1, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by her family.  She was born July 15, 1953 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Vern and Gloria (Thomas) Dowlar.  Jane enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and spending time with family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James; sister, Reva; and brother, Mike.  Jane is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Rik) Guyler; son, Thomas (Jennifer) Mathews; three grandchildren, Madison Guyler, Michael Guyler; Dalton Mathews; two great-grandsons, Isiah and Eli Guyler; as well as extended family and friends.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 6, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. at the Restoration Church, 63 E. Franklin St., Centerville, Pastor Tony Miltenberger officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Jane will be buried next to her husband at David’s Cemetery, Kettering.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Jane.
