Jamie R. Howard

Jamie R. Howard, age 50 of Fairborn passed away June 27, 2023.  He was born June 12, 1973 in Xenia, the son of James and Barbara (Mathis) Howard.  Jamie was employed with General Motors for many years and then followed with the City of Fairborn, currently with the street department and formerly the cemetery sexton.  An avid outdoorsman, Jamie enjoyed riding his motorcycle, motocross, camping and kayaking.  Jamie is survived by his parents; son, Brad Howard; daughter, Emily Howard; grandmother, Maggie (Howard) Stockert; two aunts, Lessie Conley, Tella Faye Preston; special friend, Mindi West; as well as extended family and many friends.  A funeral will be held on Monday July 3, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, pastor Ken Winter officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
