James “Tony” Wilson, age 60 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday August 24, 2021 at the Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 21, 1961 in Dayton, the son of James A. and Joyce R. (Newbauer) Wilson.
Tony served his country in the US Army Reserves and was employed at General Motors in assembly for most of his working years. Preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Karen; four children, Amy (Justin) Wilson-Woods, Adam Wilson, Zachariah (Stacy) Lowrie, Micah Lowrie; six grandchildren, Alyssa, Landyn, Dakota, Aryel, Walter, Jaxton; his mother, Joyce Crissinger; step-mother, Elma (Collier) Wilson; nine siblings, Brenda (Bill) Kirke, Kim (Gary) Teague, Melissa (Buck) Turner, Jeff (Denise) Wilson, Kelly Brown, Casey (Mary) Lynch, Lannie (Jackie) Collier, Craig Wilson, Sherri (Joe) Haywood; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday August 27, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Chris Tannreuther officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
