James "Jim" S Neff

James S. “Jim” Neff, Sr., age 64 of Fairborn, passed away November 22, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital.  He was born April 18, 1957 in Dayton, the son of the late George Herbert and Helen Louis (Bair) Neff.

Jim was a graduate of Fairborn Park Hills High School and went on to serve his country in the US Air Force.  He was previously employed as a delivery driver with Cassano’s Pizza.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Neff; a brother, George Herbert Neff, Jr. and his wife Tina; daughter, Christina (Tyler) Watts; and grandson, Caleb Michael Sargent.

Survivors include three children, James Scott Neff, Jr., Chauntae G. Neff, Joseph S. Neff; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah, Houston, Nevaeh, Aiden, Cameron, Caylee; two brothers, Thomas Neff and wife Mary, David Neff and wife Janet; sister, Marilyn McLaughlin and husband Alan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A memorial gathering for both Jim and his late wife Maria will be held Friday December 3, 2021 from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn.
