James H. Hensley

April 13, 1950 — January 14, 2022

James Hoyt Hensley, 71 of Enon, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Mercy Health Hospital, Springfield Ohio from complications of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Jim was born April 13, 1950 at the 98th General Hospital Air Force Base, Munich, Germany to Hoyt and Betty Jim (Hill) Hensley.  Living in a military family, as a youngster, Jim grew up on/near Air Force bases in Germany, France, and Morocco.  Later, when the family returned to the states Jim was at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City SD, Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City OK, and Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton OH.  He graduated from Greenon High School and went on to attend the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Graduating as a Civil Engineer, Jim worked at Tinker AFB, but most of his career was at Wright Patterson AFB working on military base projects around the world.

Jim is survived by his brother William (Sherri) Hensley, niece Jaimie and nephew Michael.

Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred at the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Oklahoma at a yet to be determined date.
