Jack E. Luce

Jack E. Luce, age 87 of Fairborn, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Soin Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1935 in Xenia, the son of the late Norman and Ruth (Phenicie) Luce.

Jack was a 58 year member of Michael L. Finnell Lodge #711 F&AM, and a past Patron of Aero Chapter #536 Order of the Eastern Star.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Janice and three sisters; Frediwyn (Dolly) Patrick, Norma Sherman, Yvonne Frazee. Survivors include five children, Jeri Luce, Jack A. Luce, Jan (Dale) Amstutz, Jill (Robin) Biteman, and Julie (Jerome) Holland; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.

An Eastern Star and Masonic service followed  by a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Byron Church , 3230 Trebein Rd,. Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the church.  Interment will follow in the Byron Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VITAS Healthcare (Hospice).
