Homer J. Johnson

Homer J. Johnson, age 88 of New Carlisle, passed away Saturday March 5, 2022 at Hospice of Miami Country. He was born July 18, 1933 in Crab Orchard, KY, the son of Rendia Mae Nease. Homer served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Homer and his late wife were members of Wright View Church of Nazarene, in Fairborn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary; two sons, Dennis Johnson; Stanley Johnson; and a grandson, Austin Kyle Ford. He is survived by his daughter Karen Johnson (Steve Webb); son Ricky Johnson; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as siblings; nieces; nephews; and extended family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 9, 2022 at the Wright View Church of Nazarene, 1612 Superior Ave., Fairborn, Pastor Todd Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends and family at 11:00am until the time of service. Burial with military honors will follow at Beaver Cemetery, Beavercreek.
