Glenis A. Lowe

Glenis A. (Massengale) Lowe, age 95 of Fairborn, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 6, 2023 surrounded by her family.  She was born May 14, 1928 in Scott Co., TN, the daughter of the late Levi and Pauline (Lowe) Massengale.

Glenis was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and has served the Lord with all of her heart for the last 83 years.  She will we greatly missed by all that were blessed to have known her.

She is survived by a son, Troy and wife Donna; sisters, Olie Marlow of Dayton, Charlene and husband Bob Owens of TN, Madeline Wamsley of Utah; brothers, Tommy, Bobby, J.R., and Jerry Massengale of TN; grandchildren, Tammy, Glen-Allen, Robert, and Timothy Henderson and spouses, Troy-Wayne and wife Julie Lowe; as well many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Terry; daughters, Jenna and husband Glen, Marquita; great grandson, Robbie; great granddaughter, Courtney.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 12, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd.,  Fairborn, Rev. Troy Lowe officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Fairfield Cemetery.
