George M. Hubbard

George M. Hubbard, age 84 of Bellbrook passed away Tuesday January 7, 2025. He was born September 20, 1940 in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of the late George “Luke” and Maude (Michael) Hubbard. George enjoyed working on classic cars; spending time with his grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Quincy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; son, Christopher; half-brother, William; and two half-sisters, Lee June and Mildred. George is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Kerry); Anthony “Tony’" (Bridget); three grandchildren T.J. (Destiny), Logan, Riley; three great-grandchildren, Mora, Lucian, Aerith; sister, Ottie Rose (Jack) Messman; and longtime companion, Polly Werth. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 14, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Eric Meade officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. George will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery.
