Garner Back

Garner Back, age 84 of Fairborn, passed away Friday January 5, 2018.  He was born September 19, 1933 in Breathitt, KY, the son of the late Edison and Edith Back.  Garner enjoyed gardening, bowling, watching baseball and spending time with family.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne; and six siblings, Edgar, Hacker, Hager, Madge, Maise, Marinda.  He is survived by six children, Jeffrey (Sandy) Back, Greg (Marcia) Back, Jeanine Markwell, Cindy (Doug) Vanover, Kevin (Bess) Back, Colleen Savakinas; 17 grandchildren, Shawn, Jason, Jeremy, Courtney, Melissa, Sammy, Tonya, Mindy, Heather, Kelly, Kyle, Lucas, Joshua, Christian, Rachel, Noah, Michael; 27 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Homer, Jim, Nem, Lavonne, Beth; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended other family.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Troy Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service.  Inurnment will be held at Marshall-Back Family Cemetery in Bardstown, Kentucky.
