Evelyn Phyllis Pardi, age 91 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 25, 2025. She was born October 7, 1933, in Utica, New York, the daughter of the late Dominick and Catherine (Falatico) Pacilio.
Evelyn found great delight in the simple pleasures of life, including playing bingo and bunco, as well as bowling, which were among her cherished hobbies. She loved opening their house to family and friends for a good meal, particularly during the special family gatherings that she so enjoyed.
Evelyn’s love for travel, particularly her memorable trips to Hawaii and Italy, added to the tapestry of her rich and fulfilling life. Her spirit will always be remembered by those lucky enough to know her.
Evelyn leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and devotion, whose impact on her family will be felt for generations to come. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her devoted husband, John J. Pardi; sons, John A. Pardi, Paul D. Pardi, and infant daughter, Regina M. Pardi; siblings, Donald Pacilio, Anthony Pacilio, Richard (Betty) Pacilio, Marlene Pacilio, Rosemary (Bill) Smith, and Doris (Tony) DeSalvo. She is survived by two dedicated children, Debbie (Jim) Sharp, Karen (Bob) Marchiny; eight grandchildren, Nick (Miranda), Ben (Britt), Jacob (Justin), Anna, Gina, Kara (Ryan), Jordan, and Timothy; seven great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Linda Pardi and Kim Pardi; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Mary Help of Christians Church, 954 N. Maple Avenue, Fairborn, OH, 45324, Fr. Ambrose Dobrozsi Celebrant. Interment to follow at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton.
