Ethel M. Simpson

Ethel M. Simpson, age 86 of Fairborn passed away October 6, 2018.  She was born January 16, 1932 in Somerset, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Robert and Ella (Vanhoooser) Hart.  Ethel was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Hart and C. Edward Hart.  Ethel is survived by her husband of 60 years, James A. Simpson; two sons, James J. Simpson, Charles T. (Brenda) Simpson, both of Fairborn; four grandchildren, Brandon L. Simpson of Fairborn, Brittany L. Simpson of Nebraska, Jessica (Cory) Hannah of Fairborn, Noelle A. Clouse of Cincinnati; sister, Mildred Harmon; as well as many extended family.  A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday October 10, 2018 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  A graveside service will follow at the Byron Cemetery, Pastor Don Payne officiating.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
