Ernie P. Tincu, Jr., age 77 of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday June 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 20, 1941 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Erney P., Sr. and Margaret (Churan) Tincu. Ernie served his country in the US Army and followed with employment as a salesman with Wonder Bread, retiring after 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, and working in the yard. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Patricia; three children, Karen Fontenot, Kellie (John) Mengel, Kevin Tincu; four grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Sara, Alicia; a sister, Marie Schoepper; a brother, John (Sharon) Tincu; loving nieces and nephews; and friends at Park Hills Crossing. The family will receive friends on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday June 25, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church, 954 N. Maple Ave., Father Charles Lang Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society -or- SICSA.
