Ella Camfield

Ella Camfield, age 89 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday January 20, 2022 at the Soin Medical Center. She was born February 5, 1932 in Mingo Co., WV, the daughter of the late Rush and Telia (Sias) Chafin.

Ella owned, operated, and was the broker for Community Realty for 40 plus years and she was a member of the First Church of Christ in Fairborn.  What she enjoyed most was being G.G. to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Sr. in 1993; a sister, Hattie; six brothers, Junior, Mason, Clyde, Hansel, Bill, and Damar; and a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Camfield.  Survivors include two sons, Lester Camfield, Jr., Dale (Lorri) Camfield; grandsons, Eric (Suanne), Jennifer (Jamie), Chris (Sabrina), Becky (Justin), Doug (Kara); nine great-grandchildren, Sadie, Clay, Kenzie, Savannah, Ava, Levi, Isaac, Gillian, and Olivia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
