Elizabeth Jane (Johnson) Shuff

Elizabeth “Jane” Shuff, age 83 of Fairborn, passed away, Monday, November 18, 2024, at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek, OH. She was born March 20, 1941, in Buckskin Township, Ross County, OH, the daughter of the late Douglas Owen and Wonetta Mae (Robinett) Johnson.

Jane was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Jane and her husband celebrated 25 wonderful years together. She loved nothing more than having a house full of family. Many joyful hours were spent around her dining room table, sharing meals, conversing about life, and exchanging much laughter. In her free time, Jane appreciated threadwork. She was a talented seamstress and was often crocheting. Jane created beautiful garments, including wedding dresses for family and dear friends. Jane will forever be in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by husband, Harry Everett Shuff; siblings, William “Bill” Johnson, Ruby Mae Elliott, and Luther Lee Johnson. She is survived by four siblings, Goldie (Charles) Dawes, Thelma Johnson, Herbert J. Johnson, Joseph Glenn Johnson; special nieces, Katelyn West, Janie Cox; special cousin, Rebecca “Becky” (Stanley) Riedmann; various nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs, Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M., until the time-of-service Pastor Eric Meade officiating. Burial to follow at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairborn, OH.
