E. David Morefield, age 59 of Springfield, passed away Wednesday April 22, 2020. He was born February 15, 1961 in Wilmington, OH, the son of Glenn Sr. and Joyce (Goodman) Morefield. David started his employment as union carpenter with Nat-Gun, building water towers all around the country; and then in the trucking industry, eventually owning his own company, E.D.M. Trucking, LLC DBA Expected Deliveries Maintained TM. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed traveling on his 100th Anniversary Edition Harley-Davidson; and he also raised farm animals, including Texas longhorn cattle.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Michele; children, Briana Waters-Barnett, Emalee Chelsey Marie Morefield, Michel Waters, Chassity Keeton, Kali Waters-Soucy, Paige Nichole Morefield-Ruiz, Alexis Kinder, and twins, Karen and Kyle Kinder; grandchildren, Makaylin, Levi, Cooper; Isabellah, Auston, Axel, EmmyJo, Bradley “Ace”, and expecting twin girls; Carter, Harper, and expecting a girl; additional grandson; father, Glenn Sr. of Van Wert; mother, Joyce Keen of Fairborn; brothers, Jimmy Dwayne Morefield (Elizabeth), Glenn Jr. (Sharon) Morefield, Gary (Jackie) Keen; sisters, Melissa Morefield; nieces and nephews, Brittney, Jamie, David Lee, Tabitha Ann, Glenn III, Samantha; numerous great nieces and nephews, including a great-nephew that carries on his name, David; as well as other extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 2, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Skaggs Cemetery in Elliott Co., Kentucky.
