Easom "Larry" Pence, Jr.

Easom “Larry” Pence, Jr., age 76 of Fairborn, passed away Friday November 3, 2017.  He was born January 3, 1941 in Bethany, KY, the son of the late Easom, Sr. and Carrie (Elkins) Pence.  Larry was retired from Chrysler where he was employed in assembly production.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, bluegrass music, playing poker, and spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Ray (Janice), Elmer (Virginia), Reece (Marie), Arnold (Rose); a sister, Golden (Forster) Bentley; and a grandson, Robbie Edie.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vergie; three children, Bill Pence, Marilyn (Rick) Moore, Donna (Dave) Brown; five grandchildren, Carrie (Chris) Newman, Andrea (Cameron) Kester, Ashley (Matt) Daniels, Tyler Brown, Annie Brown; 12 great- grandchildren, Lucas, Logan, Christian, Nicholas, Dylan, Aiden, Madison, Joshua, Tayler, Kendall, Carson, Lily; brothers, Russell (Jeannie) Pence, Charles (Barbara) Pence, Joe (Helen) Pence; sister, Mildred (Fred) Mohl; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Lonnie Bocook officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until the time of service.  Entombment will follow at the Byron Cemetery Mausoleum.
