Dosha Margaret Pettit, age 86 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday July 9, 2022 at the Hospice of Dayton. She was born December 31, 1935 in Hazard, KY, the daughter of the late James Edward and Dicie Mae (Noble) Smith.
Dosha was employed at Delphi, retiring in 2005 after over 30 years of service. She was a devout Christian who loved her family and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; three sons, Victor Stidham, Robert G. Maxwell II, James E. Maxwell; a daughter, Marie Pettit; as well as numerous siblings. Survivors include a daughter, Heather Hedges of Trotwood; grandchildren, Jessica, Marah, Danielle, Phillip, Ronnie, Gabe, Jon, Robert G., Willie; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Becky Smith, Sandy Wells; three brothers, Sam, Joe, Buster; special nephew, Jeffrey Howard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family,
A funeral service will be held on Friday July 15, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Troy Slagle officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Ohio Masonic Home.
