Dennis L. Staley

Dennis L. Staley, age 74 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday December 17, 2022 at the Ohio State University Medical Center.  He was born February 9, 1948 in Marion, Ohio, the son of the late Walter ad Ruth (Wiseman) Staley.  Dennis was a member of the Apostolic Church of Xenia and he owned and operated Mr. D’s food service for over 50 years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Darl Tingley.  Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Karen; two children, Philip (Tracy) Staley of Cedarville, Larinda (Mitch) Strunks of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Taylor (Josh) Tilton, Sarah Staley (fiancé, Blake Mowry), Ryan Smith, Lance Smith; two step-grandchildren, Adele and Liam Strunks; two great granddaughters, Addison and Ava; a sister, Linda Bosiokovic; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family,

The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 27, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2022 at 10:00 A.M., Rev. Victor Vera officiating.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
