Dennis Barney

Dennis Barney, age 49, of Fairborn, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, February 20, 2023. Dennis was born January 31, 1974, in Dayton, OH the son of Elwood J. Barney Jr. and Margie (Redmon) Barney.

In life Dennis was a car enthusiast where he made a career as an auto-mechanic—enjoying many years of labor and dedication. In addition, his hobbies included fishing, collecting arrowheads, and similar native American artifacts all over the Ohio river valley. Dennis was a son, brother, father, grandson, and friend to many and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Dennis is preceded in death by an uncle, Roger Redmon; and cousin, John Smith. He is survived by his parents, Elwood (Joe) Barney; Margie M. Barney; brothers, Joe A. (Erica) Barney; Mark A. Barney; grandparents, Ralph L. Redmon; Dorothy Redmon; children, Briston M. Barney; Brandon Barney; granddaughter, Hensli Trimble; numerous aunts, uncles, as well as extended family and friends.
