Danny B. Hall, Sr.

Danny B. Hall, Sr., age 82 of Fairborn, passed away August 2, 2020.  He was born March 3, 1938 in Louisa, Kentucky, the son of the late Luther Lee and Dolly Francis (Sammons) Hall.  Danny served his country in the US Air Force during Korea and followed with employment at Chrysler, retiring after 30 years of service.  Family was most important to Danny and he was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a masterful storyteller often engaging his family and friends with his life adventures. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Danny, Jr., two grandsons, Danny III, Mark Ian Ritter; and six siblings.  Danny is survived by his wife of 64 years, Judy; three daughters, Pam, Robin, Penny; six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brittany, Joshua, Benjamin, Alexandra, Danielle; ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, David (Donna) Hall. Now let us tell you a little more about our Dad…He was a true servant of God.  He was a loving, faithful husband to a wife of 64 years which he described daily as “precious” to him.  A devoted family man - he set the standard in his daughter’s eyes by which all other men are measured. He formed a unique bond with his children, making each feel special in their own way.  Although he loved fishing, hunting, and watching Ohio State beat just about everyone, he was also the man who brushed the tangles out of our hair when we were little, made emergency trips to the store for tights on Sunday mornings before church (you got whatever size/color he brought home), and crocheted blankets for every child/grandchild. He laid the foundation that the most important things in life are God and family. His sweetness and kind soul will stay with us forever. Until we meet again...
