Daniel J. Krug

Daniel J. Krug, age 35 of Fairborn, passed away on Tuesday October 20, 2020.  He was born June 12, 1985 in Dayton.  Daniel enjoyed spending time with his children and family, drawing and being outdoors hunting, fishing, and embarking on great adventures, as well as playing softball with a group of guys that brought out the best in him.  He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Joseph Krug; grandparents, Robert Curl and Sherry Riber; uncle, Jamie Leach; and many close friends.  Survivors include his parents, Tony (Betsy) Krug, Jennifer (Kevin) Smith; children, Dillon, Laila, Daisy, Calyx; grandparents, Jerry (Fran) Krug, Carol Curl; siblings, Samantha (Dustin) Bennett, Austin Krug, Garrett Smith; Uncle Tim and Aunts Tina, Gina, Ginger; as well as many beloved cousins, extended family and friends.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 25, 2020 at 4:30 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Lonnie Bocook officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Daniel Krug Memorial Fund, established for his children, at any Wright-Patt Credit Union location.
