Daniel F. Kosina, age 74 of Fairborn, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, February 18, 2024. He was born December 8, 1949, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Francis J. “Frank” and Mary (Morgese) Kosina.
Daniel was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and son. During his career he was employed with Morris Home Furniture, retiring as a salesman after nearly 25 years of dedication. He was a member of the Mary Help of Christians Church in Fairborn. Daniel enjoyed spending his free time shooting, trap shooting, cooking, watching the Green Bay Packers, and especially, spending quality time with family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Kosina; and granddaughter, Eliana Kosina. Daniel is survived by two children, Joseph (Therese) Kosina, Jennifer (Steve) Cockrell; six grandchildren, Benjamin (Brianna), Jacob, Dominic, Gianna, Gabriel, Rosalia; brother, Tom (Mary Ann) Kosina; extended family, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 26, 2024, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324.
