Daisy Bailey

Daisy Bailey, age 91 of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 at the Carlyle House.  She was born December 5, 1927 in Dale, KY, the daughter of the late William Herbert and Vernie (Rudd) Taulbee.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam in 2000; a son, Eric Bailey; two grandsons, Jeremiah Pratt and Daniel Pratt; and two sisters, Maude and Eller.  She is survived by a son, Rick (Nancy) Bailey; a daughter, Sandra Haught; seven grandchildren, Shane (Tina) Bailey, Jason (Cathy) Pratt, Jennifer (Michael) Kosins, Bradley (Michelle) Bailey, Katie (Timothy) Silvia, Teria “Nikki” Bailey, Cody (Stephanie) Bailey; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Nell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Friday January 4, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton -or- the Alzheimer’s Association.
