Cynthia “Cindy” Jane Mcmahan Rinn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia “Cindy” Jane McMahan Rinn, on November 20, 2023 with loved ones by her side.  She was born on December 24, 1957 in Fairborn, Ohio and graduated from Fairborn Baker in 1976.  Cindy's departure from this world leaves a void that cannot be filled, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Parents, Charles “Mick” Richard and Joan Wilson Fisher McMahan and infant sibling Mary Lou McMahan preceded Cindy in death.  She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Ted Rinn, and her children Andy (Jen) Pierson, Amy Hale Baker, Steve (Kelly) Hale, as well as her stepchildren Adam (Becky) Rinn, Michelle Rinn, and Brian (Karla) Rinn. Her legacy also lives on through her 11 cherished grandchildren: Alec, Kylie, Sophie, Sam, Evie, Nico, Jack, Jax, Daniel, Ally, and Cooper. Cindy is also survived by her siblings Rick McMahan, Nancy (Jim) Hapner, and Greg (Billy) McMahan.

Cindy will be remembered for her love of Cedar Point, puzzles, rainbows, penguins, sunsets, and roller coasters. Her time spent boating on Lake Erie provided so much joy for her, illustrating her vibrant and adventurous spirit.

Her warm presence and the love she shared with family and friends created a tapestry of beautiful memories that will endure through time. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the life of Cindy and the positive impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of life service will be held at Belton-Stroup Funeral home in Fairborn on Friday December 1, 2023 from 4-6pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests considering contributions to Dayton Food Bank https://thefoodbankdayton.org/give-money/ or Disabled American Veterans https://www.dav.org/ .
