Craig T. Phelps

Craig T. Phelps, age 60 of Fairborn passed away Thursday August 3, 2023.  He was born September 25, 1962 in Dayton, the son of the late Vola and Doris (Tyler) Phelps. Craig loved to spend time hanging out with his children and grandchildren. Craig also had a love for building model airplanes; cleaning his cars; and giving treats to his cats.  He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Nascar fan.  Craig was currently employed as a customer service representative for Charter Communications.  He is survived by four sons, Chris (Emily) Phelps, Kyle (Emily) Phelps, Kody Phelps (Julie Larson), Trevor Bowling; three grandchildren, Jordan, Kade, Reagan; sister, Gail (Bill) Peterie; nephew, Benjamin Peterie; longtime girlfriend, Rita Williger; favorite ex-wife, Jennifer Phelps.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Eric Meade officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at David’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the J. Lowe Memorial Fund, c/o Ray Lowe, 1107 Steven Circle Dr, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344.
