Cletus Holbert, age 69 of Fairborn, passed away on November 17, 2017. He was born January 2, 1948 in Beavercreek, the son of the late Homer and Sarah (Wampler) Holbert. Cletus was retired from General Motors, working in production. He enjoyed doing yard work, going garage sales, watching football, especially Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns, watching NASCAR, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Cletus is preceded in death by a sister, Vicia. He is survived by a son, Timothy Holbert; four grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Kayla, and Kevin; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert Holbert, Donald Holbert. A funeral service will be held on Friday November 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
