Clara E. Sisco

Clara E. Sisco, born on July 21, 1943, in Drift, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, in Fairborn, surrounded by her loving family. Clara was a cherished member of the New Beginnings Christian Church, where she devoted much of her time and spirit.

Clara will be remembered by her two children, Julie Kramer and Steve (Ellen) Sisco and the rest of her loving family. She took great joy as a grandmother to eight grandchildren: Tracy (Charlie) Wilbanks, Ashley (Greg) Parrett, Brittany Williams, Haley (Jacob) Suzman, Emily Kramer, Melody (Paul) Falk, Rick (Heather) Sisco, and Samantha Sisco (Mike Brandmire). In addition, she was blessed with fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, each of whom brought her pride and happiness.

Her family also includes two sisters, Beatrice Burchett and Virginia (Rick) Vititoe, along with extended family who will carry her memory forward.

Clara was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Sisco, as well as her parents, Mike and Emma (Adkins) Hayden; five sisters; four brothers and son-in-law Dale Kramer.

Throughout her life, Clara had many passions, including sewing, shopping, playing cards, decorating, and most importantly, spending time with her family. These activities brought her joy and created memories that will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Clara will be held at New Beginnings Christian Church, located at 7345 Dayton-Springfield Rd, Enon, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on March 12, 2025 at 12:00 noon, Minister Steve Sisco officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service.

Clara’s life was one of kindness and unwavering support for her family and friends. Her legacy will continue to shine through the hearts and lives of all who were fortunate to know her. Clara will be laid to rest next to her husband, James at Byron Cemetery. If desired memorial contributions may be made to New Beginnings Christian Church in her memory.
