Cindy D. Vanover

Cindy D. Vanover, age 64 of Medway, passed away May 6, 2024 at the Kettering Medical Center.  She was born August 20, 1959 in Xenia, the daughter of the late Garner and Yvonne (Fassold) Back.

Cindy was employed at Kiddie Launch in Fairborn.  Her family was most important to her, and she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who adored her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanine Markwell; and a brother, Greg Back.  Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Doug; two sons, Kyle Vanover and Lucas Vanover; three grandchildren, Brayden, Kayleigh, Hunter; a sister, Colleen Savakinas; two brothers, Jeff (Sandy) Back, Kevin (Bess) Back; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday May 16, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.   A memorial service will start at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Troy Lowe officiating.
