Charles E. "Chuck" Mifflin, Sr.

USAF MSgt. (Ret.) Charles E. “Chuck” Mifflin, Sr., age 84 of Fairborn, passed away Sunday November 28, 2021 at the Soin Medical Center.  He was born January 14, 1937 in West Frankfort, IL, the son of the late Adolph and Mildred (Ingram) Mifflin.

Chuck served his country in the United States Air Force in Air Missile Maintenance, retiring in 1974 after 20 years of service at the rank of Master Sergeant.  He followed his military service with service to his community as a dispatcher with the Fairborn Police Department for 17 years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Verna; and a grandson, Thomas Mifflin.  Survivors include three sons, Charles E. Mifflin II, Jeffrey (Brenda) Mifflin, James W. (Jennifer) Mifflin; a daughter, Cheryl A. Zemba; seven grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Alex, Nick, Rachel, Zachary, Benjamin; and five great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn .
