Charles M. "Mike" Bell

USAF MSgt. (Ret.) Charles M. “Mike” Bell, age 76 of Fairborn, passed away December 10, 2022.  He was born May 26, 1946 in Dayton, the son of the late Howard and Beatrice (Lipps) Bell.  Mike served his country in the USAF, mostly as a flight coordinator, retiring after over 20 years of service.  He was a member of Maple Avenue Church of God; enjoyed bowling, golfing, and attending sporting events.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn S. “Sue” Bell.  Mike is survived by his son, Michael Todd Bell; daughter, Heather Elizabeth Bell two grandchildren, Ed and Alex; as well as extended family.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday December 13 at 1:00 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor James Clayton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.  Burial with military honors will follow at Byron Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
