Carrie Emma Kilgore

Carrie Emma Kilgore, age 93 of Fairborn passed away Wednesday December 6, 2023.  She was born April 8, 1930 in Wells Hill, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Roger and Bertha (Sinners) West.  Carrie enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.  She was a devoted member of Enterprise Baptist Church Fairborn for over 70 years.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Carol Ann Semler; son, Robert Jr.,  and four siblings, Fairy, Cordell, Carl, and Louise.  Carrie is survived by her son, Gary (Verlene) Kilgore; daughter-in-law, Brenda Kilgore; grandchildren, Gary Kilgore, Jr. (Vicky), KariAnn Flora, Mark (Kim) Keeton, Angela (Dennis) Bowling, Amy (Carlos) Trafficante, Emily (Nick) Simpson, Candi (Chip) Prinz; great-grandchildren, Vada, Eden, Victoria (Patrick), Gary III, Timmy (Beth), Elizabeth (Jim), Caryson, Campbell, Karina, Katherine, Juliana, Sean, Emily, Connor; great great-grandchildren, Gryffin, Theodore, Waylon, Levi, Cloe, Nathan; as well as extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Monday December 11, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Pat Morris officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service.  Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
