Carolyn Sue Kissell

Carolyn Sue Kissell, age 53 of Fairborn, passed away Monday February 20, 2023 at the Kettering Medical Center.  She was born November 13, 1969 in Dayton, the daughter of the late John and Laura (Sumner) Combs.

Carolyn had training in medical assisting but her real gift was the ability to relate to people and navigate them through some of the more trying times in life.  The impact she had on an untold countless number of lives will be part of her legacy forever.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her best friend, Stacie Bigl.  Survivors include her husband, Robert Kissell; children, Seth Kissell, Brittany Fowler, Zachary Kissell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday March 3, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Mark Combs officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service at funeral home.  A graveside service will be held on Sunday March 5, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Fisty Cemetery in Fisty, Kentucky.
